Hello! I'm David Walker, and I've had a camera in hand for a long, long time.
If I were to boil down my philosophy into just a sentence, it'd be that films shouldn't have to manipulate you into feeling something, but merely call back what was already felt.
Drawn to the quiet and often overlooked beauty of the honest, genuine moments (many of which that go unnoticed), I'm a believer in the old adage of making every frame a painting. Weddings are a sacred space carved out for you and your people to celebrate, and my job is to honor the truth of that space while documenting it.
My filming style chooses presence over perfection; letting go of control and moving with the rhythm of the day, capturing the spontaneous and unscripted as it all unfolds organically... so that when watching your film back it should feel as though you could simply step right in and relive the day.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you! I film celebrations of all sizes; from intimate elopements to multi-day weddings... each celebration is unique and can be tailored to exactly what each couple is looking for. Please note I only take on a limited number of weddings a year in order to maintain the highest standard of quality for each couple.
